A deed in Orange county Virginia dated Feb. 23, 1742 in which Richard Quinn sells 47 acres along the Rapidan River [through a town of the same name] to George and Elizabeth Bruce. This was found on page 12 of the county deed book 7. One of the three witnesses was Darby Quinn, father of Elizabeth the wife of George Bruce and of Richard Quinn. [D__0239]
