Nov. 19, 1887 marriage certificate in Springfield, Greene county, Missouri for Robert Deaton and Addie Buhr both residents of Springfield, Greene county, Missouri. Both were just under the legal age to be married so both had to get permission from an 'official' adult. Robert's father and Addie's sister Tillie Hook (older sister Matilda, she being the guardian of Addie since their parents were both recently deceased) were these adults. Rev. B.F. Poole. Methodist preacher, performed the marriage ceremony. The certificate lists 'North Springfield' which maybe was the name of the Methodist church where the wedding took place. Six years later, Addie was buried in the Bellview Cemetery which is in the northeast portion of Springfield, Greene county, Missouri. [D__0145]
