General

Research ,
Rebecca may be the sister of the Mary Clark that married Edward Gilman on 06-03-1614 in Hingham (Norfolk) England. Also, she may be the sister of both Jane Clark that married Robert Kirby on 07-25-1616 in Hingham and Margaret Clark that married Anthony Cooper on 07-25-1609 in Hingham. All four of these supposed Clark sisters may be the daughters of John and Elizabeth Clark. John was buried on 06-06-1615 in Hingham and Elizabeth was buried on 04-11-1602 in Hingham. John Clark was probably the son of Thomas of Hingham whose will in 1593 mentions wife Elizabeth and children Valentine, Stephen, John, Elizabeth and Margaret. This Thomas was probably the son of Richard Clark of Hingham whole will dated 08-20-1557 mentions a wife Margaret and children John, Thomas (believed to be a son), Margaret and Joan. This Richard Clark was probably the son of Richard Clark as Thomas Clark's will mentions a tenement which was formerly his grandfather Richard Clark's. Anthony Cooper, Edward Gilman and RobertPeck (husband of Rebecca) were early settlers of Hingham (Plymouth) Massachusetts.
