Captain John Grout's (died 1697 Sudbury) second wife, after Mary died, was Sarah, the widow of Thomas Cakebread. Sisters Mary and Anna supposedly came to New England because of their Puritanism. Anna could possibly have been a sister of Captain Grout's first wife Mary.
