In 1635, five youths named Beamon\Beamond came from England to America. They were: Thomas age 29 to Virginia, William age 27 to New England, John age 23 to New England, Gamaliel age 12 to New England, and Simon age unknown to New England.
- William married 12-09-1643 to Lydia Danforth the daughter of Nicholas. They settled in Saybrook Connecticut. William died 02-04-1699, Lydia died 08-16-1686 they had eight or nine children: Lydia, Mary, Elizabeth, Deborah, Abigail, Samuel, Rebecca, and maybe a Sarah.
- Simon settled in Springfield, he married 10-15-1654 to Alice Young. Simon died 1676, Alice died 10-05-1708, they had children: Simon, John, Daniel, Thomas, Josiah, Mehitable, Benjamin, Ruth, Samuel, Alice, Mary and Abigail. [Someone handwrote in the book next to Mary that she married a John Miller of Springfield.] Simon's daughter Ruth mentioned here may be the ancestor.
