General
An article in the 1897 issue of the New England Historic Genealogical Register about Jonas Fairbank. Beyond the vitals about him are his wife, Lydia Prescott the daughter of John and that she married Elias Barron after Jonas died. It also mentions their seven children including ancestor Hasadiah the wife of John Moore.
The marriage of Jonas and Lydia was the first one to be recorded in Lancaster. The New England Historic Genealogical Society wrote a four-page article about John Fairbanks. He might be a relative of Jonas. See image M__0028.
