Martha is a Mystery Lady. The only real information known about Martha is her marriage in 1727 in Killingly, Windham county, Connecticut to Samuel Bloss. She is called "Martha Barker, widow" in several sources. All information beyond this marriage is confusing/confused, circumstantial, and, guesses.
Some items:
- She may have been born in 1714 or she may have been born around 1704-1705
- She may have been born in Andover, Essex county, Massachusetts or she may have been born in Windham county Connecticut
- She may, or may not, be the daughter of Nathan Barker and Bethia Bodwel, if Martha the ancestor was born in 1704-1705 then she would would not the daughter Martha of Nathan Barker and Bethia Bodwell
- Before marrying Samuel Bloss she may have been married to a Mr. Barker who died soon after their marriage -- that could explain why she is labeled "widow" at her marriage to Samuel Bloss, and, it could also mean that her maiden name was not Barker
- She may have had children with her first husband Mr. Barker
- If she was (A) born in 1714, and, (B) was widowed from a Mr. Barker before she married Samuel Bloss, then, she was first married about age 12
- If she was (A) born around 1704-1705, and, (B) was widowed from a Mr. Barker before she married Samuel Bloss, then, she was first married about age 21
- Unknown when and where she died and whether she was a widow of Samuel Bloss
- Unknown where she was buried
- A Martha Barker is reported to be married to, and having kids with, Joseph Parker across some of the same years she was married to, and having kids with, Samuel Bloss.

- Per http://www.genealogyofnewengland.com/f_5dc0.htm#8, a Martha Baker (cApr.1714-______) married John Whipple (1695-1769) of Ipswich Massachusetts on May 14, 1735 and they had three daughters: Hannah, Martha and Elizabeth.
This Martha Baker was the daughter of Thomas Baker and Mary Capen. This Martha also had a brother Thomas (1710-1777) who married Sarah Wade (1707-1780, daughter of Thomas Wade and Elizabeth Thornton) on Dec. 20, 1729 and they had 14 kids.
- Per http://www.genealogyofnewengland.com/f_d7f.htm#4, a Martha Barker (Jul.27,1714 in Andover Massachusetts, died about 1752, daughter of Nathan Barker and Bethia Bodwell) married on July 04, 1734 to Joseph Parker (1712-1811, son of Joseph Parker and Abigail Mitchell) and they had six children.
After Martha died, Joseph married Apr. 25, 1754 in Pembroke New Hampshire to Hannah Abbott (1726-____, daughter of Timothy Abbott and Mary Foster) and they had three children.
- Per http://www.genealogyofnewengland.com/f_50c1.htm#0, Martha Barker (b. about 1714 in Andover) married Samuel Bloss (born Jan. 26, 1705 in Watertown Massachusetts) on Sept. 04, 1727, he was the son of Richard Bloss and Ann Cutler, Samuel and Martha had nine children, one being a Samuel that married Mary Winter.
Except for having the extra letter "r" in Martha's last name, this information matches to what was already attributed to the ancestor Martha Baker and husband Samuel Bloss.
- Several sources say that the father of Martha Barker was Isaac Barker born about 1680 probably in Massachusetts and died between 1714 and 1770 in either Connecticut or Massachusetts. Unknown name of his wife. There is very little information online of any type about this Isaac.
- By 1657 there were eleven immigrants in New England named Baker and five named Barker.

- Isaac Baker married Sarah Rich 1703-02-25 in Eastham by Samuel Treat. They later had children all born in Eastham: Simeon born Jul. 24, 1702, Samuel born Sep. 01, 1704, Isaac born Sep. __, 1709, Joseph born Jan. 06, 17086, Richard born Mar. 31, 1712, Sarah born Jul, 19, 1717.
More at https://ancestors.familysearch.org/en/LT8K-WQM/isaac-baker-1681-1747 about the above Isaac and Sarah with a daughter Martha born 1705 (same year as the prior source identified). However, nothing given about Martha so unable to link the two as the same person.
