Very little is known about Luanie except that she came from Oneida county New York to Tioga county Pennsylvania, was married to Dorman Bloss, and died fairly young. Nothing is known about Luanie's mother that kept Luanie's youngest child after Luanie died and her husband Dorman, who had remarried, moved to Indiana about 1818 or 1819.
In the 1820 census for Covington township in Tioga county Pennsylvania is a Christian Cutler. He is between ages 26 and 44 and has a male under age 10 in his household along with a female (probably his wife) between the ages of 16 to 25. Listed six names below Christian is Aaron Bloss, the brother of Luanie's husband Dorman. By 1820, Dorman had just moved to south central Indiana. Had the under-age-ten child been female, it could be Luanie's daughter that Dorman left behind in Pennsylvania with his in-laws when he moved to Indiana. Plus, given the ages of Christian and his wife, he would more likely be a brother of Luanie rather than her father.
Wonder if Luanie is a descendant of Ann Cutler, the wife of Luanie's husband Dorman's grandfather Richard Cutler.
The 1820 census for Covington township in Tioga county Pennsylvania shows a Christopher Cutler who might be related to ancestor Luanie
