· Family of Jacob Shantz (1730-1782), son of Christian Shantz Sr., Jacob lived in Lampeter township of Lancaster county Pennsylvania and he died intestate in 1782. His widow Mary died Jul.08, 1830. They were married about 1752 and had at least five children of which one was ancestor Anna who married Abraham Hildebrand.
