General
A Lloyd Meredith was a postmaster in Brady township. Lloyd could be a relative of Hannah (Meredith) Wilson. This Lloyd Meredith also listed as a member of the Lutheran church board. He also lived in the Henderson township and married, on 1830-03-11 by Daniel Africa to Anna Haffer also of Henderson township (per Huntingdon Rep. Adv. of 1830-03-16. Meredith also listed as a member of the Lutheran church board. There also was a David Meredith in Huntingdon county. Per Orphans Court Ancestry.com family of Hannah (Meredith) Wilson and her husband Mathew Wilson and their son Matthew Meredith Wilson. It lists her father as William Meredith but not source documents tie the two together. The family of Mathew Wilson and wife Hannah Meredith and only one of their five children, Matthew Meredith Wilson, is listed. This is from an Ancestry.com family. The information appears correct although only a single federal census is given as the source. Docket Book C (1816-1830), a William Meredith, deceased, his minor children were appointed guardians (file I-146-63) Jonathan and William (O-19-224). His administration account was later confirmed (file L-121-150).

TO FIND: Parents (father might be William Meredith of Tyrone, nothing known about a possible mother), Immigrant Ancestors, Marriage Date/Place, documentation for birth dates of kids. Her cemetery headstone in Zanesville is unreadable if even visible and the early records were lost.
In Africa's 1883 book of the history of Huntingdon county on page 225 is stated that a Lloyd Meredith was a postmaster in Brady township as was Leonard G. Kessler (the brother-in-law of Hannah via two marriages). Lloyd could be a relative of Hannah (Meredith) Wilson. This Lloyd Meredith was also listed as a member of the Lutheran church board. Page 282 lists Lloyd Meredith as owning 13 acres in 1820 in Henderson township. The censuses of 1820 and 1830 show Lloyd Meredith living in Henderson, Huntingdon county, Pennsylvania. The censuses of 1800 and 1810 show a William Meredith living in the township of Tyrone in Huntingdon county Pennsylvania. William died prior to June 02, 1817 when letters of administration were filed. It is possible that Lloyd Meredith was the brother of Hannah and that William was their father. A David Meredith is on the 1800 census in Tyrone township of Huntingdon. He appears in neither 1810 nor 1820 censuses. A lengthy webpage (http://www.pagenweb.org/~huntingdon/townships/brady/brady-history.htm) about the Brady township in Huntingdon county twice mentions Lloyd Meredith and a Jesse Meredith once.
