Wilson and their six children along with the three children of their son Albert and the maker of the family list has confused them as children of Ida and Robert.

A Xenia Daily Gazette article dated Jan.14, 1890 tells of Ida (Melvin) Wilson visiting her parents on Third Street in Xenia. Her father was near death at that point. · · A Xenia Daily Gazette article dated May 19, 1890 tells of Ida (Melvin) Wilson and two of her children leaving Xenia that evening to join her husband in Kansas City where their new home will be. · · By coincidence, there were two ladies in Kansas City named Ida Wilson that were both born in 1862 and died nine months apart. Ancestor Ida died in July 1922 and is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery. The other Ida died in October 1921 and is buried in Elmwood Cemetery which is a few miles north of Forest Hill Cemetery. The Elmwood Ida is buried next to a person named John F. Wilson, August 5, 1872 to Sept. 19, 1907. The death certificates of both Ida's are on file in Kansas City.
