General

Ancestry.com family for Adeline 'Addie' (Buhr) Deaton, it does list her two sons but with the second one being born in Mississippi [?]

Charles' father-in-law and mother both died within a two-week period in 1893. However, since Charles was only age four at the time, he did not yet know his father-in-law.

Charles's daughter, Addie Linda (Deaton) Knudsen, said that her father once mentioned to her that he was from Franklin (Williamson) Tennessee, which is just southwest of Nashville. An interesting point to that: Williamson county in southern Illinois is where some Deaton cousins lived [see Littleberry Deaton], and, the Illinois county was named after Williamson county Tennessee.
