Distinguished Club Program

Overview of the Distinguished Club Program (DCP):
· Shows that Members are earning Awards and adding Members to the Club
· An objective way for Toastmasters International and the District to gauge Club Performance
· Provides a way for Clubs to "Compete" against each other for more DCP points earned faster
Two Competent Communicators

Credit for two Competent Communicator Awards (CC)
Two More Competent Communicators

Credit for an Additional two Competent Communicator Awards (CC)
One Advanced Communicators

Credit for One Advanced Communicator Award:
· Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB)
· Advanced Communicator Silver (ACS)
· Advanced Leader Gold (ACG)
One More Advanced Communicators

Credit for One Additional Advanced Communicator Award:
· Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB)
· Advanced Communicator Silver (ACS)
· Advanced Leader Gold (ACG)
One Leadership

One Leadership Award:
· Competent Leader (CL)
· Advanced Leader Bronze (ALB)
· Advanced Leader Silver (ALS)
· Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM)
One More Leaderships

· Competent Leader (CL)

Four New Members

Four Members that are one of:
· Brand New to Toastmasters
· Toastmaster Member of another Club being a Dual Member
· Reinstated after lapse in Membership

Four More New Members

Four Members that are one of:
· Brand New to Toastmasters

4+ Officers Trained Twice

Minimum of Four Club Officers trained at Both (summer and winter) District-sponsored Club Officer Training (TLI) sessions
Ontime Lists: Dues and Officers

· Renewal Membership Dues Paid Ontime (either October 1st or April 1st)
· Newly-elected Club Officers List Submitted Ontime (May 31st, and, for charter-optional semi-elections of clubs that meeet weekly, November 30th)
Manual Speeches that Earn Education and Leadership Awards

Members give speeches from any of the various manuals and earn an Educational or Leadership Award
· Competent Communicator (CC)
· Competent Leader (CL)
· Advanced Manuals (any two of 15 per award)
· Special Series Projects
· HPL (High Performance Leader)
Membership Level

· A Club must have at least 8 Members to be in Good Standing, 20 is Preferable
· Numerous ways to add members to the Club
Club Management

Club Officers need to be elected and they should regularly meet to discuss how to Improve the Club and its Meetings
Distinguished Club

Club Earned either five or six of the possible ten DCP points

Club Earned either seven or eight of the possible ten DCP points
Presidents Distinguished Club

Club Earned either nine or ten of the possible ten DCP points
